Brasa & Humo
Site for a high-end charcoal steakhouse. It's live and you can open it right now.
The problem
A high-ticket restaurant doesn't sell off a template. The diner about to pay $145 for a cut for two decides in the first few seconds, and decides on how the site feels: whether it looks serious, whether the menu reads well, whether it makes them want to book.
Most restaurant sites fail exactly there — they load a PDF of the menu and consider the matter closed.
What I built
- Cinematic loading sequence. Display type, fire imagery and ambient data — coordinates, coal temperature — that carry the story rather than decorate it.
- Cuts carousel navigable three ways: by dragging, by clicking, and by keyboard. Each cut carries its cooking temperature, weight and price.
- Filterable menu by category — to share, from the grill, pork, sides, desserts, cocktails — with provenance per dish.
- Booking always in reach, pinned to the top bar across the whole page.
- Cookie notice in the brand's voice, instead of the generic legal paragraph everyone copies.
The detail that makes the difference on this kind of site is the per-dish card:
temperature, weight, origin. It isn't decoration — it's what justifies the price to the diner
before they ask, and it's exactly what a PDF menu cannot do.
